Since then, I have had the opportunity to attend many classes and learn the latest techniques in hair color and styling from top artists such as David Adams. Jamie Bolin

Jamie is an honors graduate from the Aveda Fredrics Institute in Indianapolis. She has been in this rapidly growing industry for 3 years and has been continuing her education since graduation. Jamie has traveled to Chicago and Cincinnati for advanced Aveda training and is now MarDon’s male cutting specialist. She is also very experienced in Aveda color and has a passion for that as well. Lexi Brown

Lexi Brown is a graduate of the Aveda Fredrics Institute in Indianapolis.  Receiving an education from the Aveda Institute has made her very knowledgeable and passionate about the products and techniques that are used everyday as well as for special occasions.  She specializes in our Shellac Manicure Service, which is a nail polish that will last for at least two weeks without chipping or flaking.  Lexi enjoys making beautiful people feel beautiful. She will find a color that complements your skin tone and a cut that that flatters your features.  She will work with you to find a hairstyle that fits your lifestyle, so whether you have 5 minutes or an hour to get ready in the morning, she will help you find a “do” that is best for you.  If you are ready for a change, big or small, Lexi would be excited to create a new color, cut, or style especially for you.

Matthew Jackson

MarDon Salon is happy to welcome Matthew Jackson to their Aveda staff.Matthew has been a hair designer in Columbus, IN since 1993 slicing and shaping his share of locks since then.  To Matthew the hair biz is a positive self-esteem business that he takes seriously-but has a professional blast along the way.  He knows it is a honor to serve salon guests.  Matthew’s commitment is to provide qualified services with the goal of customizing your personal fashion with your lifestyle.  He cares to inspire your appearance, knowing that it effects how you feel about yourself.  He sees trend, but strives to market you.

Cortney Burkett

Cortney graduated from the Aveda Institute in Indianapolis with her cosmetology degree and decided to continue her education in Esthetics.  She graduated with “Highest Distinction” from Honors Beauty College in Indianapolis.  She is very excited to join the staff at MarDon Salon. She specializes  in relaxing facials, waxing and make-up application.  she can also give her clients the most up to date hair cuts and styles.  Cortney has a passion for making her clients feel comfortable and listening to what they want their new look to be and can also give her advice.  There is a difference between special and spectacular… let Cortney make your next experience at MarDon Salon be Spectacular!

Elise White

Elsie is a massage therapist trained at Kripalu yoga center in deeply calming bodywork techniques. Those techniques include deep tissue, reflexology, trigger point therapy, positional therapy, energy work and Swedish relaxation. Elsie moved to Bloomington in 2008 to do graduate work in Spanish literature only to discover her love for massage, music and landscaping in the area.
